Project Phase
CEP Training: Unlock Smarter Online Consultations
Hosted by Innovation For Policy Foundation
Join this interactive session to discover practical ways to strengthen public participation using digital tools. You will learn how to effectively run online consultations, expand participation through digital methods, and leverage open-source solutions to support transparent and inclusive engagement processes.
The session will also introduce Digital Public Goods (DPGs) and their role in enabling accessible and sustainable civic technology. Participants will explore the Citizen Engagement Platform (CEP)—what it is, how it works, and how it can be used to facilitate meaningful dialogue between institutions and citizens.
To make the experience practical, participants will take part in a live engagement exercise, where you will test the platform yourself by annotating, highlighting, commenting, and rating contributions—just as citizens would during a real consultation.
This session is designed to give you hands-on insight into modern digital participation tools and how they can support more open, inclusive, and effective decision-making processes.
