At the fourth Specialized Technical Committee (STC) on Agriculture, Rural Development, Water and Sustainable Environment (ARDWE) held on 16 December 2021, the STC-ARDWE mandated AUC and AUDA-NEPAD to conduct a review/assessment on the National Agricultural Investment Plans (NAIPs), or any other instrument that the Member States uses to guide their investment in Agriculture. This was to determine how far the Malabo Declaration goals are being domesticated in the Member State plans and implementation processes. It is with this background that the AUC and AUDA-NEPAD have initiated this study.
